The Dawn Is Not Granted

How long can despair of the darkness last?
When will the gushing clouds scatter and pass?
How long must agony of hunger remain
Its ravenous, unending, aching pain?

Dawn shall arise and the shadows depart,
The clouds will scatter with light in their heart.
Hunger will fade like a wound gently sealed,
And fields will bloom with a bountiful yield.

How long shall unjust power hold its sway?
How long shall starving souls endure the day?
While ruthless hands decide a painful fate,
And trembling hearts await in silent pain.

One day they’ll rise like France’s blazing street,
Like Portugal’s resolve, they won’t retreat,
Like Italy’s squares where old orders fall,
Like Albania’s youth who stand up tall,
Like India’s millions who refuse to bow,
Like Serbia’s triumph—power ended now.

Let the tyrant in power now shake,
Let the drug mafia shatter and break,
Let the gun and weapon lobby tremble,
Let the oil and crypto empires crumble,
Let the warmongers falter and fall—
The people are rising to answer the call.

For the dawn is not granted by rulers above—
It is built by the people through courage and love.
